Animal Life Spans & Animal Rescue Services...

Pet Market, Research and Development...

Animals whose lifespans could be extended by a telomerase-inducing nutritional supplement include valued service animals such as Seeing Eye dogs and police dogs, prized animals such as thoroughbred horses, and household pets. Of theses categories, Sierra Sciences believes pets represent the most promising market because there are so many of them and they are valued as individuals by their owners. According to a report from Visiongain, The Global Vedrtinary Pharmaceutical Market, the world animal health care market totaled $11.33 billion in 2005, of which the companion animal sector was $4.165 billion. The US accounts for 36% of this market. According to Nutrition Business Journal, US sales of pet nutritional supplements are expected to near $2 billion by 2013.  A review of the products displayed on petsmart. com's dog vitamin and supplements page, finds 17% of the products offered were to support general wellness and 4% were older and active dog supplements.

A chromosome is a long strand of DNA. At the end of a chromosome is a telomere, which acts like a bookend. Telomeres keep chomosomes protected and prevent them from fusing into rings or binding with other DNA. Telomeres play an important role in cell division.  Tree of Life Health Institute in a project called Animal Lifespans  is fundrasing for research at Sierra Sciences to extend the life of the animal.

Animal Rescue Services: Tree of Life Health Institute is in a fundraising campaign working for Sighthounds in the area of Animal Rescue Services. The two main areas to date have been Beagle and Borzoi Animal Rescue Services.

Your gift to find a Telomerase inducer for extending life span and/or for Animal Rescue Services would be greatly accepted. Just note which area your tax deducible gift is for on your check.

Thanking you in advance,
